Kuyavian-Pomeranian Region
- Located in the northern and central part of Poland.
Main cities are Bydgoszcz and Torun (BaT), which try to be one of the most competitive regions in Europe. - Main branches of industry: hi-tech, food and beverages, electronical, chemical, electrical and machines, wood and paper.
- Well developed educational infrastructure (junior high schools and high schools) as well as important academic centres: Nicolaus Copernicus University, Kazimierz the Great University, Collegium Medicum.
- Profitable communication location – the A1 highway in construction from Scandinavia to the south of Europe is an important link of the European transport system.
- Tourist attractions – the old town in Torun is in the list of the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage, Slav settlement in Biskupin, Tuchola Forest, Brodnica Lakes, Ciechocinek and Inowrocław – sanatoriums and biggest chimney coolers in Europe.
